This week hits several different dynasty emotions: off-field drama causing market dips, sacrificing a QB in SuperFlex to climb a skill position tier, and a star-studded slugfest of a trade with heavyweight names flying on both sides. It’s all on the docket for Week 3 of Grade the Trade.
Grade Ratings:
A – Great Trade for Both Parties
B – Leans One Side, But Fair

George Pickens for Quinshon Judkins

A concerned Suspicious_Raisin684 wants to know if this deal is a “Smash accept?”
Most of the dynasty community has now heard the unfortunate news surrounding Quinshon Judkins, and naturally, the ripple effects are hitting the market. Just a week ago, trades like this didn’t exist. Some managers are sprinting away from the drama, while others see a buying window. These are the moments when panic sets in, values dip, and opportunity arises.
TEAM A | George Pickens
PROs
- Early praise from teammates and QB Dak Prescott creates optimism around his transition.
- Heavy passing volume offense and better QB targets will yield more fantasy potential.
CONs
- Losing significant value today.
TEAM B | Quinshon Judkins
PROs
- High value floor/upside rookie adds excitement to the roster.
- Take advantage of negative news to trade for Quinshon Judkins at a discount.
CONs
- Looming legal issues create future uncertainty.
VERDICT: Team B walks away with the edge today. But the future remains cloudy.

George Pickens’ value has rebounded following his move to Dallas, recovering from the dip caused by the DK Metcalf trade.

The first deal, sending away Quinshon Judkins for a volatile WR3 and a vanishing RB4, screams panic. The same goes for the swap involving Luther Burden. These are the kinds of trades that start surfacing when uncertainty clouds a player’s future. It’s classic market psychology: fear creates dips, and the bold can profit big by leaning into the gamble.

Trade #2 | B | Grade the Trade
Justin Jefferson and 26 3rd for Nico Collins and Caleb Williams

Everyone wants to “Smash,” including Broncosfan10.
There are only a handful of players in dynasty that feel nearly untradeable, Justin Jefferson is one of them. To pry him loose, you usually have to overpay, and even then, it rarely feels like a win. But Broncosfan10 got an offer that made him consider pulling off a trade for the superstar.
In a 10-team SuperFlex PPR format, it’s all about landing true difference-makers. So here’s the question: is the upgrade from Nico Collins to Justin Jefferson worth giving up Caleb Williams for just a 3rd?
TEAM A | Justin Jefferson and 2026 3rd
PROs
- It’s Justin Jefferson. Even the 13th QB change doesn’t concern the community.
CONs
- The QB room takes a massive hit, while the WR group gets a tier bump.
TEAM B | Nico Collins and Caleb Williams
PROs
- Adding a second-year QB in Caleb Williams, hyped up with a new coach and a treasure chest full of weapons.
- Nico Collins was the WR8 on the season, only about 1.5 PPG less than Justin Jefferson.
CONs
- Pour one out for losing Justin Jefferson.
VERDICT: Team B wins the trade comfortably
I love my shares of Justin Jefferson. But in SuperFlex, if I can drop a tier at wide receiver and add a promising young quarterback, I’ll sleep just fine at night. Sure, there are more question marks around both Nico Collins and Caleb Williams than Jefferson. But if you believe the gap in PPG between Collins and Jefferson is minimal, this is the kind of risk that will level up a roster. Williams brings top-tier upside at the most valuable position in the format.
Every trade is a gamble. But if you’re too scared to roll the dice, your team will slowly rot into a rebuild, whether you meant for it or not. This is a risk with massive upside.

Trade #3 | B | Grade the Trade
George Kittle, Isiah Pacheco, and Malik Nabers for Trey McBride, Breece Hall, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba

OkFollowing9205 wants advice on this Blockbuster!
Studs are flying on both sides of this deal.
One side leans “contend now,” anchored by George Kittle, who could be staring down his best fantasy season yet as Brock Purdy’s most trusted option. Pacheco still holds a slight lead in Kansas City’s backfield roulette, and of course, Malik Nabers is the crown jewel, the elite most valuable player in the deal.
Team B counters by betting big on Breece Hall bouncing back into RB1 territory, JSN continuing his breakout from 2024, and Trey McBride locking in weekly TE production even outside of premium formats.
TEAM A | George Kittle, Isiah Pacheco, and Malik Nabers
PROs
- Kittle has legit TE1 overall potential as a superstar in an ambiguous WR room.
- Nabers is an elite WR, whose ceiling is ascending.
CONs
- Isiah Pacheco is a one-year rental, if not already cooked.
- The team got significantly older.
TEAM B | Trey McBride, Breece Hall, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba
PROs
- Isiah Pacheco to Breece Hall is a huge upgrade in value
- Trey McBride gives you a TE1 advantage for almost a decade, as opposed to only a couple of years
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba got the offseason vote of confidence and will be atop the pecking order after DK Metcalf was traded.
CONs
- Won’t be your “Nabers” anymore.
VERDICT: Team B wins thanks to a clear upgrade at running back.
Landing Malik Nabers, and the hype/value that comes with him, is what keeps this deal close. There are three positional swaps to evaluate, but the RB tier jump is what swings it for me. At tight end, I prefer Trey McBride over George Kittle, both short and long term. The value will stay close over the next year or two, but McBride will be a mainstay, while Kittle’s window is narrowing. At wide receiver, Nabers is the preferred player over JSN, but both offer WR1 upside and youth. The gap there is measurable but not massive, roughly 2–3 points per game depending on format
The biggest difference? Running back. Moving from Pacheco to Breece Hall isn’t a small upgrade; it’s a potential league-winning shift. Unless you’re completely out on Hall or are convinced JSN has already hit his ceiling, I’ll take the dominant RB/TE side and live with the slight downgrade at WR.
